There was a stir in Buxar after the video of illegal recovery from the vehicle of District Transport Officer went viral. It is seen that the security personnel sitting in the government vehicle were stopping the trucks and collecting money from them. Someone made the video of this incident viral. It is being told that at around 8 pm on 22nd October, near Ahiroli turn on National Highway-922, a truck going from Uttar Pradesh to Bihar border and going towards Patna was chased and stopped by the vehicle of the District Transport Officer. When stopped, a policeman came out of the transport officer’s car and collected money from the truck driver. Meanwhile, a passerby made a video of this which later went viral on social media. The matter has come to the notice of Buxar DM Anshul, after which investigation is being conducted. Action will be taken against those found guilty as per rules.
The District Transport Officer also claimed to be sitting in the vehicle.
Now after its video surfaced, this incident was investigated and CCTV footage also surfaced in which this incident is clearly visible. In such a situation, it became clear that recovery was being made from the truck driver. After watching the viral video, it is being claimed that the District Transport Officer is also sitting in the vehicle. Let us tell you that recently, after the video of recovery from trucks during patrolling by the Sub Inspector posted in the city police station, on one hand, the entire patrolling team was suspended.

Recently, businessmen of Buxar city had accused some newly appointed transport personnel of extortion. He had said that when his commercial vehicles come from Uttar Pradesh or Patna, illegal recovery is made from the vehicles at the toll plaza on National Highway-922 and the check post near Veer Kunwar Singh Setu. He testified this to Sadar MLA Sanjay Kumar Tiwari alias Munna Tiwari, after which, on the instructions of the MLA, the District Transport Officer said to take action against the concerned personnel. Now the case of recovery from the vehicle of the District Transport Officer itself is coming to light.
